A Day with the Artist - “The Work Talks” Jewelry artist Joy McClure

April 14 - 11 AM to 5 PM
Come and join us for “A Day With the Artist”. This months featured artist is
Mariposa Jewelry Artist Joy McClure. Joy works in enameling, silversmithing,
casting, and intricate weaving and braiding. She will have jewelry displayed
and for sale at Stellar Gallery from April 14th through Mother’s Day. Joy
will be demonstrating casting, Kumihimo braiding and Inkle weaving, and how
each discipline pertains to jewelry making on April 14th from 11 to 5 p.m.

About  “A Day with the Artist”
Stellar Gallery features one  Sierra Art Trails  artist each month. Featured
artists demonstrate their work throughout the day, discuss techniques, and
visit with interested visitors and clients.  The gallery also maintains a
selection of donated works by Sierra Art Trails artists, which are available
for sale at the gallery on a regular basis.  “A Day with the Artist” is
coordinated with Williams Gallery West so visitors have a chance to visit
with more than one artist and gallery on the same day. Please join us!  Stay

Sierra Art Hop
Spring has returned, and like the robin and the daffodils, so has Sierra Art
Hop!  Beginning April 14th, Sierra Art Hop will take place on the second
Saturday of each month, from 11 AM to 5 PM.  Participating galleries will
host visiting artists, present demonstrations and other activities, and will
offer light refreshments.  Current participants include Grimmer Gallery,
Stavast Gallery, Stellar Gallery, Timberline Gallery, and Williams Gallery
West in Oakhurst, as well as Paul Henry Abrams Community Art Gallery in
North Fork.

Antique Chinese Furniture
Stellar Gallery also carries a unique collection of handpicked antique
Chinese Country furniture. The style combines simple, yet elegant lines with
a sense of practicality and vigor. The gallery’s collection includes trunks,
tables, benches, cabinets, and assorted accent pieces.
