Ceramist T.S. Wood, A Day with the Artist
Come join us on Saturday, April 14th, from 11-5:00 p.m. for our monthly “Day
with the Artist”. Ceramist Tiwi S. Wood will be offering a new series of
ceramic trinket boxes with basic forms thrown on the potter’s wheel, then
decorated with additional sculptural elements. She doesn’t have to look far
for the inspirations for these additional details: the Central Valley’s
orchards, covered in fruit blossoms, and her own wild garden with its
meandering paths and hidden corners where critters find safe places from the
scorching Fresno sun, the vegetable patch she tends outside her back door,
the wildlife that visits her suburban pond and garden, her own pets ...
these are what inspire her work. “A Day with the Artist” showcases one of
the artists we represent.  Featured artists demonstrate their work
throughout the day, discuss techniques, and visit with interested visitors
and clients.

 “A Day with the Artist” is coordinated with Stellar Gallery’s monthly
featured Sierra Art Trails artist, so visitors have a chance to visit with
more than one artist on the same day. Please join us!  Stay tuned to our

New for Spring!  Torch glass orchids and dogwood by Eric Edner
The unique beauty of Eric Edner’s exquisite glass floral works reflects his
technical skill and intimate experience with the natural world.  Edner’s
work is informed by the centuries old tradition of classical Venetian vessel
making, a disciplined and elegant legacy.  Eric has achieved a wonderful
synthesis of dynamic organic forms with sophisticated vessel designs.

ceramic techniques.  If you want to learn how to work with clay, come on by!

Wednesday April 18 - 11 AM to 5 PM
Portrait artist Mary Jane Brewster will be demonstrating acrylic painting
techniques.  Come by to watch her work, or to learn some tips and tricks
painting with acrylics. .  If you want to bring your paints and easel,
please join us!
