[FAC] Call for artist and musicians.

Each year Sierra Vista Mall offers a free 8 week summer program to children
ages 5 - 12 at no charge. Each program is one hour long and the turn out of
kids can run from 150 to 300 plus.  The average age seems to be about 8 - 9
years old.  We do not turn away those under 5 who are interested honestly,
not too many over 12 like to hang out.

 

We are working with The Discovery Center, Radio Disney, and The Aquarium
Aquarium Institute. The program starts June 14th and ends August 2nd. 

 

I would like to add a day of art and a day of music.  Fresno, Clovis and the
surrounding areas are filled with talented people!

 

Is there anyone who can put together a one hour program for up to 300
children??  Audience participation is very important along with the ability
to do a craft project  of some type to take home with them. The hour goes by
fast. It's about 20 minutes of lecture, 25 minutes of hands on and a quick
goodbye!  Regarding art, there is the possibility of partnering with the
City of Clovis and their project, Portal to Technology with art being
painted on doors of various types.  We can provide the doors for the
children to collectively paint on along with the supplies.
