Art Center Grand Opening!
The Huff Art Center provides an array of services, which include:
• Instructional workshops provided by the center and by artists who
offer classes.
• Hourly Studio Time with worktables and floor space. This is on a
first come first serve basis, or you can reserve ahead.
• Center space rental for private teaching or for clubs and meetings
• After-school and other Children Programs
• Artistic support/Education
Huff Art Center is dedicated to promoting Art in the community. The
goals of this center is to provide an environment for interaction among
artists and the development of creative ideas; to offer a variety of
programs and events that teach and display art; to enrich the community
through events and in-house programs.

New Children’s Art Classes Offered at the Huff Art Center
“I’m bored”, "Mom, I have to make a project for school. It's due
tomorrow!" Whose heart has not sunk at hearing these words?
Now, it will be possible to encourage your child to think ahead, and
work on their own, in an art studio and working under the guidance of
experienced teachers.
The Huff Art Center is offering Monthly art session after school:
ART After School
1st to 3rd Grades
Wednesdays 4:00 to 6:00 pm
$95 Monthly. Kids learn various techniques in art making.
Additionally we offer a preschool art program on Monday’s from 10 – 11
a.m.
Little Leonardo's
Preschool Art Program Ages 4 to 5
Monday Mornings 10:00-11:00
$95 Monthly. Preschool and beginning classes focus on introducing a
variety of materials, concepts and techniques. Classes are filled with
challenging, playful and imaginative activities.
Your instructor for the classes is Michele Moritz. She is a Visalia
native who has been actively teaching elementary aged children since
1998. Her teaching experience ranges from various after school
programs (YMCA, HEART Family Literacy Program) to several local
elementary schools as an art instructor and substitute teacher. She
has experience working with developmentally challenged adults as well.
Michele has an AA degree in Liberal studies from College of the
Sequoias and a Bachelor's degree in art Therapy from CSU, Fresno. Her
desire is to release confidence in children's creative abilities and to
cultivate the imaginations in her students.
