April 5 ArtHop @ Broadway Studios, Studios 3 & 5

Featuring artist Stacey Williams who was born and raised in Fresno.  At an
early age, she realized that art was one of her true passions. Throughout
Stacey's childhood, she worked on her painting style, an evolution which can
be seen throughout the paintings on the walls of her parents' house. 

Stacey briefly left Fresno to major in an Art Studio at UC Santa Barbara,
and received instruction there that really shaped her current pieces.  Her
largest influence there was a wonderful artist named Jane Callister.  Stacey
also has a Master's in Education at UCSB, and has been employed since
graduation as an elementary school teacher in Fresno Unified School
District.  She currently teaches 1st grade at Bullard T.A.L.E.N.T., a Fresno
Unified school that adds to the standard curriculum with enriching
activities such as art, dance, acting and music. 

Stacey's current collection is a broad spectrum of paintings that she has
completed over the past several years.  Many of the people who have seen her
work have been telling her for years that she should find a forum to display
it for public view.  ArtHop has always been something that she wanted to
do-this is her first public exhibit.  Enjoy!
