[FAC] West African drum and dance camp near Fresno -- Camp Fareta! -- July 8-15

Join us at the second annual Camp Fareta – a West African drum and dance camp for adults hosted by Youssouf Koumbassa, master dancer, choreographer, and teacher from Guinea, West Africa. 
   
  Many other master artists from Guinea, Mali, and Senegal will be joining him at a beautiful camp an hour east of Fresno in the southern Sierras of California, July 8-15.  There will be at least three dance classes (including some beginner classes) and two drum classes a day plus other cultural events, a delicious international menu (including some African meals) will be created by a former Esalen chef, work-exchange is available and there's a kids' program as well.

  Camp Hye Sierra, the venue, at 4,500 feet, has a lake for swimming and boating, hiking trails, a basketball court, plus cabins for sleeping (or bring your own tent). The days are sunny and warm and the nights are cool.  Escape the Fresno heat -- bring your friends and family and immerse yourself in an amazing cultural experience!
