Join the Fresno Historical Society for the 28th annual Historic Home  Tour.
This year's tour is of five homes in Old Fig Garden.  Friday, May 18 -  
6:30-9:30 PM
wine and hors d' oeuvres in the front garden of 4341 No. Van Ness Blvd.,  
followed by
a candlelight tour of the 5 homes on the tour.  $45 per person -  
reservations required.
 
Saturday, May 19 illustrated lecture at the Fig Garden Women's Club,  11 AM 
with Kevin Enns-Rempel,
Archivist and History Professor, Fresno Pacific University.  Tour  follows 
Noon to 4 PM.  Tickets are $25.00 in advance, $30.00 day of  event.  This makes 
a wonderful Mother's Day Gift!
 
Learn about J. C. Forkner's vision of Old Fig and how he planted 600,000  
figs and colonized the land - "buy 10, 20 or 40 acres with figs and live  off the 
land!"
