JUNIOR FUEGO SET TO OPEN SEASON ON SATURDAY!

Fresno, CA... The Fresno Grizzlies Community Fund and the Fresno Fuego have
teamed up to start a league similar to the Junior Grizzlies. The Junior
Fuego is set to open their season this Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 3:00
PM at the Field of Dreams, located at Gateway High School in Clovis. Opening
day festivities will begin at 2:45 PM with games immediately following.
Opening festivities will include an appearance from Scorcher and Fuego
Players. 

 

"We are truly excited to be able to use the field every weekend this fall,"
says Andrew Stuebner the Fresno Grizzlies Executive Vice President.  "After
this past springs success with baseball, we are looking forward to being
able to host soccer at the Field of Dreams." 

 

Junior Fuego is a soccer league for children and young adults with special
needs. Junior Fuego has more than  50 participants in the program. This
soccer league was previously known as "TOPS SOCCER," and played at Granite
Park. This will be the first season the Junior Fuego will play at the Field
of Dreams. All Junior Fuego games will be played at the Field of Dreams in
Clovis.
