Friends:
Theatre Ventoux is working to bring Hollywood acting teacher/coach,
Stephen Book, to Fresno! Stephen was one of Greg's teachers during
his training at the University of Southern California and it is his
technique and process that Greg uses in his own performances and that
he teaches as Director and Acting Coach for Theatre Ventoux.
Visit Stephen's website at www.stephenbook.com for more information
about Stephen and what he teaches, as well as endorsements from the
likes of George Carlin, John Houseman, William Hurt, David Boreanaz,
Sanaa Lathan and more.
We are just in the planning stages at this point, but we need an idea
of how many people would be seriously interested in this special
opportunity. We are more than likely looking at a one day workshop,
probably a Saturday. The fee will be based on the number of people
attending and will be used solely to cover costs.
I cannot tell you how valuable this work is. Stephen teaches pure
technique: specific skills that can be acquired, developed and
refined by anyone, and that can be immediately applied in any acting
situation e.g. your next audition, your next rehearsal, even your
next performance.
If you have no training at all and want something that you can use
the day after you learn it, this is for you. If you have some
training and want to take your work to a new level, this is for you.
Please get back to me as soon as possible to let me know that you are
interested. More information will follow as soon as I know how many
people want to seriously up the stakes in their acting. And, please,
pass this along to anyone else you can think of.
