Steve Suggs was born in Delano, California in 1968. Suggs has been working
as a chef for over 15 years, but he has now put the knives down and picked
up the brush. His whimsical folk paintings, with his most recent work being
devoted to birds and trees, reflect the rural images of California's Central
Valley. Steve paints on canvas using old junk pieces to make impressions in
order to give his two-dimensional paintings more character.

Patrick Hopkins, born in Visalia, left last year to “experience life out of
the Valley”. He returned to put out more than 25 new works in a burst of
creative energy. This body of work is bold, fresh and abstract (except for
what the viewer sees).
