Art Festival Seeks Artists
2nd Annual Art in the Park - June 14, 2008

REGISTRATION BEGINS NOW!

The Art in the Park Committee is looking for visual and performing
artists in all media,
for the 2nd annual Art in the Park Festival, from 10 a.m -3 p.m., June
14, 2008 at Recreation Park in Visalia.

Original works of fine art in all mediums, including ceramics, fiber,
glass, jewelry, painting, digital art, photography, printmaking,
sculpture, wood and mixed media, are given the highest priority. Only
artists displaying their own work is eligible to participate, art
organizations and original work art galleries may apply using the group
rate.

We are also seeking, musicians, dancers, theatrical performers, and
storytellers for our performing arts area.

Premium locations are assigned on a first come first serve basis.
artists who are selected and wish to participate will be required to
submit, a $60.00 fee for their booth which is a 10' x 20' space, see
guidelines and application form for all details.

The Art in the Park program has been funded in part by a grant from the
City of Visalia Community Arts Grant Program, keep an eye out for our
ads; those who sign up early may have a chance to be included in
marketing which will include ads, articles, and interviews on television
and radio.
