[FAC] CALL TO ARTISTS: Wanted a Sidewalk Chalk Artist

Forkner Elementary School is looking for an artist to help with a "chalk one
up for the arts" after-school art program on Thursday, May 22.  An
honorarium is included.  This event is sponsored by the PTA and is open to
all students free of charge.   Description is below.

Call for Artist
"Chalk One up for the Arts,"  Forkner Elementary School is seeking a
sidewalk chalk drawing artist to collaborate with the PTA on an after-school
art program on Thursday, May 22, 2008.  The artist would have a space
designated for the creation of his/her own drawing and help inspire and
direct the children in their own drawings.  Name recognition and honorarium
for artist offered.  Parent volunteers will assist.  The chalk art program
is open to all Forkner students free of charge; complimentary refreshments
included.  Interested artists should contact PTA President Liz Looney at
lizlooney at comcast.net or 779-3820 ASAP.
