We've got tons of cool new features that I'm proud to announce today. First, the small details: Now, whenever you click a photo in one of our stories,
it will pop up with a cool little effect so you can get a better look at the pic! 

Second, LateUpdate.com is now on Twitter! Twitter allows people to "micro-blog," which is a fancy term for one-sentence blogging. Well, we're using it
to display headlines, photos, comments, forum topics, and my own "tweets" as I go throughout my day. It's a fun way to stay connected with

Does God exist? And if He does, would He blog about Himself?

Recent debates between Fresno Christians and atheists on their main point of contention -- whether God exists -- has become fodder for updates and
further discussion on various blogs throughout Fresno.

The debates seemed to give people from all sides a chance to make a case one way or the other, their personal blogs have provided an outlet to keep
the debate going -- whether or not anyone is convinced enough to change their own beliefs. And people from all sides are joining in.

Fresno makes worst 100 list for allergies

Fresno made the list of 100 cities in America (
http://www.forbes.com/health/2008/04/08/health-allergies-pollen-forbeslife-cx_avd_0408health_table.html )  to have the worst conditions for allergies.
The list was published earlier this month by Forbes Magazine.
The list was based on such factors as the average pollen presence in the air, medicine utilization per patient and the number of board-certified
allergists per patient. Lexington, KY came in as the very worst city -- up from being No. 52 the previous year. 
Fresno's rank: No. 92.
According to Forbes, "2008 Rank - Rankings for the Allergy Capitals TM are based on analysis of data from 4 factors: Prevalence Data, Seasonal Pollen,
Allergy Medicine Utilization per Patient, and the number of Board Certified Allergists per patient. Weights were applied to each factor and a
composite final score was calculated for each Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA)."
