Valley Public Radio presents "An Evening With Theodore Roosevelt"
Clay Jenkinson, humanities scholar, author, and host of "The Thomas
Jefferson Hour," a nationally distributed program on public radio
presenting the character of Thomas Jefferson, will personify the 26th
President, Theodore Roosevelt. Jenkinson will provide a first-person
historical perspective on not only the issues Roosevelt was passionate
about, but also the issues we care about today, including conservation,
leadership, American ideals, and more.
Jenkinson will present some of Roosevelt's ideas about his times and
ours, and then will field questions from the audience.
Copies of Mr. Jenkinson's books will be available for purchase and
signing following the presentation.
When: Wednesday, September 10, 2008 - 6:30 p.m.
Doors open for general admission seating at 6:00 p.m.
Where: Warnor's Centre for the Performing Arts

Tickets: $35 each, all seating is general admission.

Reception: A Reception & Ticket Package is available for Mr. Jenkinson's
presentation in Fresno on Wednesday, September 10. Ticket packages are
$75 and include a ticket to a private reception on Tuesday, September 9
at 5:30 p.m. and a ticket to the Fresno presentation. Ticket packages
are available through Valley Public Radio at (559) 275-0764 and
www.kvpr.org.

can be heard on Valley Public Radio - KVPR 89.3 Fresno and KPRX 89.1
Bakersfield - Sunday and Monday nights at 7:00 p.m.
Mr. Jenkinson will also perform in Bakersfield on Thursday, September
11, 2008.
