Hi,
It's time for my bi-weekly Happy, Happy Hour again at that perfectly curious
nexus of time and space fondly called the "Oly", otherwise known as Audie's
Olympic Tavern. Come on down and get your American Roots Music fix
(bottleneck-style). The libations are plenty, and inexpensive, and there's
lots of local color and ambience to add to the fun(need I mention "Pants"
Rowland and his profligate sidekicks Gumbo the Hobo and Van Lingle Mungo?).
Bring some friends, Sashay in, relax to the music, get your drink on, and
voila!,before you know it you're having a great time. What more could you ask
of a hot Friday afternoon/evening? This is the friendliest happy hour in town.
Now this week we have a little bit of news for you all. We have a BRAND NEW CD
OUT and we'll have some with us at the Oly this Friday. Yes we know it's long
overdue, but it's finally here. It's called "Moon Goin' Down", and we rather
like it-and hope you will too. It has a lot of the material I play at the
happy hour so you might find a favorite song or two on there. Anyway come on
down and have some fun and pick up the new cd while you're at it. The party
