We invite all artists to be part of this exciting public art exhibition in
Fresno.

The San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust is celebrating its
20-year anniversary in 2008. To bring attention to the work of creating and
preserving the San Joaquin River Parkway, a 22-mile 6000 acre green belt on
the northern boundary of Fresno, we will exhibit a collection of 20 painted
canoes at various Fresno locations during the spring and summer of 2008.
While on display, the canoes will be bid upon for silent auction to raise
funds for environmental educational programs. The canoes’ final exhibition
will be on September 20 when a live auction of selected canoes will close
the exhibition with a festive flair.

To learn more and receive Complete Guidelines and Regulations for Artists,
attend a meeting at Gallery 25, 660 Van Ness, Friday, February 15 at 5 p.m.
or call 433-3189 x4# for more information.

Guidelines will be posted on our website www.riverparkway.org as soon as
possible, or we can send you a copy.

This public art exhibition is a program of the San Joaquin River Parkway and
Conservation Trust, Inc. and is sponsored in part by a grant from the
Community Enrichment Program administered by the Fresno Arts Council, and in
part by SC Johnson.
