biology at CSUFresno where he taught courses in vertebrate biology,
human ecology and general biology. For 20 years, he was a consultant
for the World Health Organization on the use of fish as bio-control
agents against the vectors (mosquitoes) of malaria. In that capacity,
he has traveled widely in tropical developing countries of Asia, Africa,
South America, and Micronesia. He, often accompanied by his wife
Vickie, has led eco-tours to the Amazon, Galapagos Africa, and Central
America. He never travels without his camera.
