Attention Artists and Organizations:

Art Festival Seeks Artists and Performances 2nd Annual Art in the Park -
June 14, 2008

ART IN THE PARK IS NOW FREE FOR ARTISTS TOO! We are looking for visual and
performing artists in all media, for the 2nd annual Art in the Park
Festival, from 10 a.m -3 p.m., June 14, 2008 at Recreation Park in Visalia.
Because of a grant from the City of Visalia's Community Arts Grant Program
and the support from our sponsors, Art in the Park is now FREE for the
Artists.  

Original works of fine art in all mediums, including ceramics, fiber, glass,
jewelry, painting, digital art, photography, printmaking, sculpture, wood
and mixed media, are given the highest priority. Only artists displaying
their own work is eligible to participate, art organizations and original
work art galleries may apply as well. 

We are also seeking, musicians, dancers, theatrical performers, poets,
literary, and storytellers for our performing arts area.

Premium locations are assigned on a first come first serve basis.
Artists who are selected will be required to fill out the guidelines and
application form and submit it with pictures of their current work.
