[FAC] ART: Canoes Around Town Closing Celebration this Saturday!!

Hi there Friends,

As supporters of Canoes Around Town, we at the San Joaquin River Parkway
Trust would like to personally invite you to our closing celebration of
Canoes Around Town, Fresno's first city wide public art exhibition. The
event takes place this Saturday September 20th starting at 8:30am with a
pancake breakfast for only $5.At 10:30 the program kicks off with a
discussion by local canoe maker Paul Martin.
At 11am Live music by "Scats on the Sly" (jazz from the 30's) 12noon Q & A
panel with our artists, led by Susan Gutierrez.  Silent bidding on canoes
will take place for duration of the event. Please come out for a delightful
Saturday morning on the river!!!

The Coke Hallowell Center for River Studies is located on OLD FRIANT RD. If
you take the Friant exit, drive three miles past Woodward Park you'll see
OLD FRIANT RD on the left hand side. Turn there and follow the curvy road
about a mile and you'll see our big sign there on the left hand side.
