Fresno Day at Camp Fareta!

Wednesday, July 15, 2009, 2-8:30pm

 

Join us for an afternoon and
evening at Camp Fareta, a West African drum and dance retreat that includes
master drummers and dancers from Guinea, Mali, and Senegal, teaching classes that will amaze you!  The workshop dates are July 12-18, and the
camp takes place at Camp Hye Sierra, 45000 East Kings Canyon Road, in Dunlap. 

 

Bring clothing for dancing,
if you’re feeling adventurous, and a drum, if you’ve got one, or just observe
and enjoy the sights.  You are also
welcome to take a swim in the lake or just relax in the beautiful atmosphere.  Then join us for an African dinner at 7pm and head down the mountain by 8:30.  It will be a
day you’ll remember for a long time!
