[FAC] CSU Summer Arts

CSU Summer Arts present on Thursday, July 16, a Contemporary Art Lecture by artist Jeffrey Vallance ( www.65media.com/jeffreyvallance ) which will begin at 7 p.m. in the Conley Lecture Hall.  Tickets are priced at $7 students/seniors; $10 general and may be ordered by calling 559-278-5109 or going online to www.csusummerarts.org . 



Mr. Vallance's creations are a visual chronicle of his quirky explorations, odd exchanges and humorous, autobiographical anecdotes presented through many media:   painting, sculpture, video, installation, performance, and published texts.  His work has been included in such prestigious exhibitions as Los Angeles 1955-1985 at the Centre Pompidou, Paris, and (The World May Be) Fantastic, Sydney Biennale.  An installation of his reliquaries just opened at De Vleeshal, Middleburg, Holland.  Mr. Vallance teaches at UCLA.
