First prize winner of the 1972 Busoni International Piano Competition, the Brazilian-born pianist Arnaldo Cohen “has everything that makes a great virtuoso” (Le Figaro, Paris) and “nothing to fear from any rival pianist today” (CD Review Magazine). His playing of white-hot intensity, intellectual probity, and glittering bravura technique bordering on sheer wizardry have led to collaborations with such acclaimed conductors as Kurt Masur, Klaus Tennstedt, Kurt Sanderling, and Yehudi Menuhin.
